Soundproofing Rubber Sheet

Our soundproofing rubber sheet is a dense, heavy acoustic rubber that reduces impact noise and vibration. Use it under floor coverings, behind wall linings, in vans and vehicles, under machinery and appliances, and in home studios and gyms. Available by the linear metre or in 10m rolls, 1.5mm–25mm thick. Free UK delivery.

Where to use soundproofing rubber

  • Under laminate, timber or carpet to cut footfall noise
  • Under gym flooring to reduce weight-drop noise
  • Lining van floors, walls and wheel arches
  • Under washing machines, compressors and pumps

Which thickness?

Thicker, heavier sheet blocks more sound. Thin sheet (2mm–6mm) suits underlays and vehicle linings; 10mm+ suits machinery and heavy impact.

See all rubber sheet or our gym flooring for weight-training areas.

Common questions

Is delivery free?

Yes. Delivery is free on every order to UK addresses, and orders are dispatched within 24 hours. If you're outside the UK, email sales@expressmatting.co.uk for a shipping quote before you order.

Can you cut it to size?

Many of our rolls are sold by the metre and cut to the length you choose. See cut lengths under 10m, or call 01744 520 110 about other sizes.

How do I choose the right thickness?

Thicker rubber absorbs heavier impacts. For free weights and racks, most customers choose 16–18mm tiles or mats; for cardio areas and workshops, 3–10mm rolls are usually enough. See our thickness guide and calculator.
