Is delivery free?
Yes. Delivery is free on every order to UK addresses, and orders are dispatched within 24 hours. If you're outside the UK, email sales@expressmatting.co.uk for a shipping quote before you order.
Can you cut rubber matting to size?
Many of our rolls are sold by the metre and cut to the length you choose. See cut lengths under 10m, or call 01744 520 110 about other sizes.
What thickness do I need for a home gym?
For free weights and racks, most customers choose 16–18mm interlocking tiles or mats. For cardio machines and stretching areas, 4–10mm rolls are usually enough. See the thickness guide on this page.
How much flooring do I need?
Measure the length and width of the area in metres and enter them in our calculator. It counts whole tiles row by row, or strips of roll across the room, and shows the cost.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes, all prices include VAT. Use the Inc VAT / Ex VAT switch at the top of the page to see prices without VAT.
Do you offer bulk or trade pricing?
Yes. Larger orders get a bulk discount. Use the quote form or see our bulk order discount page.
Does new rubber matting smell?
New rubber can have a rubber smell when it's first unpacked. It usually fades over time, and faster with good ventilation, so it helps to lay the matting out in an airy space for a few days.
How do I install interlocking tiles?
Interlocking tiles fit together without glue, so you can lay them yourself. For rolls and sheet that need fixing down, we sell indoor and outdoor adhesives. Read our installation guide.
