Rubber strip for sealing, gasketing, edging, cushioning and draught-proofing. Choose solid neoprene for tough, oil- and weather-resistant seals; self-adhesive or expanded sponge strip for compressible seals; or Viton (FKM) for high temperatures and chemicals. Many widths and thicknesses. Free UK delivery.

  • Solid neoprene rubber strip (65 Shore A) – 5m lengths; water, oil and UV resistant.
  • Self-adhesive sponge strip – peel-and-stick seals for doors, hatches, enclosures and panels.
  • Expanded neoprene sponge strip – soft, compressible and weatherproof.
  • Viton FKM strip – for heat and aggressive chemicals.

Solid or sponge?

Use solid strip where the seal must resist wear or pressure. Use sponge where it needs to compress to fill a gap, such as doors and lids.

Common questions

Is delivery free?

Yes. Delivery is free on every order to UK addresses, and orders are dispatched within 24 hours. If you're outside the UK, email sales@expressmatting.co.uk for a shipping quote before you order.

Can you cut it to size?

Many of our rolls are sold by the metre and cut to the length you choose. See cut lengths under 10m, or call 01744 520 110 about other sizes.

How do I choose the right thickness?

Thicker rubber absorbs heavier impacts. For free weights and racks, most customers choose 16–18mm tiles or mats; for cardio areas and workshops, 3–10mm rolls are usually enough. See our thickness guide and calculator.
