What thickness playground mat do I need?

The required thickness depends on the Critical Fall Height (CFH) of your play equipment. For equipment up to 0.6m high, 25mm mats are typically sufficient. For equipment up to 1.0m high, 35mm–40mm is recommended. For climbing frames and slides above 1.5m, 50mm+ mats provide the required impact protection.

Can playground safety mats be used on grass?
